E.L.F. Holy Hydration! Eye Cream ($10) is a new hyaluronic acid and peptides eye that’s marketed to hydrate the delicate skin under your eyes with minimizing puffiness and dark circles. It contains jojoba, Vitamin E, cucumber, and hyaluronic acid as well as hydrating jojoba.

This sounded like a dream when it launched. I have drier eyes and I’m all about moisturizing eye creams. I put no stock in the minimizing puffiness and dark circles but the fact it was a water-based eye cream with HA was plenty for me as I look for moisture most in my eye creams and don’t expect any other miracles from it.

That being said, thus far the Holy Hydration Skincare Collection in general has been a bust for me. I’m really not liking what I’ve tried and I do recommend the Hydrated Ever After Skincare Mini Kit which is $20 and includes deluxe sizes of all the products from the collection. Don’t make the same mistake I did and commit to full-sizes of these products without trying them first. The $20 set is a good way to do that.

MAC Love Me Liquid Lipcolour is on the horizon for a release shortly and is a new liquid lipstick infused with argan oil and shea butter. The creamy formula has a “powerful” satin finish according to MAC. Mmm they had me at creamy and moisturizing but lost me at satin. I’d love something shiny! As a fan of Love Me Lipstick I’m expecting great things from a liquid version of it! So, what are you serving me up MAC? Maybe surprise me with something that is creamy and maybe has a hint of shine even though you’re promoting a satin!

Here’s what I’m thinking MAC….something along the lines of NARS Lip Lacquer. All pigmented and shiny gorgeousness!

And listen, you really disappointed me with those Black Cherry Extra Dimension Blushes so you have to better this time as I’m losing faith over here.

MAC Love Me Liquid Lipcolour is coming soon and hopefully as brilliant as they sound!

I started a new retinol about two weeks ago and my skin is shedding like a snake. It’s made me very dry for some reason and I’m flaking up all over the place! Combine that with the sudden onset of cold weather again and I’m just an alligator over.

Never fear! There’s always a solution for moisture in my house. I am moisture Queen! I always have the best and most awesome products to combat dryness. Living with dry skin you learn a thing or two and I’ve stocked up on some really great options to keep my skin as moist and well hydrated as possible.
