Benefit Mini Superstar Wardrobe Makeup Value Set and Shake Your Beauty Advent Calendar are two new makeup advent calendars popping up at today. I always love looking through all the advent calendars that flood in over the Holidays. There’s something fun about popping open a new little door daily to discover a beauty treat inside.

My boyfriend and I purchased the Funko The Nightmare Before Christmas Advent Calendar but we legit had to hide it from ourselves because we got way too zealous with the Funko 13-Day Spooky Countdown which we legit tore into with our teeth. We purchased it, got the shipment, and literally tore into all 13 days in like one minute. SPOILERS ahead. The tiny David (from the Lost Boys) is what I really wanted and stole it to pop on my desk! Sorry! I love Halloween and I got away from the Holiday stuff for a minute there.

Anyway, there are two separate Benefit Advent Calendars to choose from for Holiday 2020.

Florence by Mills Oh Whale! Lip Balm arrives today and count me curious about this one. I actually like a lot of the Florence by Mills lip products! I know, I know! I’m not exactly in the demographic for the brand but what can I say? They make good products! The Glow Yeah Lip Oil is quite nice with a shiny finish although I do wish it was a smidge cheaper and the Get Glossed Lipgloss is prob one of my fav glosses at the moment! That one is creamy, hydrating, excellent color pay off!

So, sure, why not I can be convinced to try the lip balm! This formula contains argan and avocado with shea butter to hydrate and smooth lips! It looks tinted but I think it might apply transparent! Too bad! I do so enjoy a good tinted lip balm!

But wait, what’s that on the bottom? Ok, in a shocking twist Florence by Mills is getting all cutesy with packaging! For a second, I had to squint really hard to see what was going on at the bottom of the lip balm! It’s a cute little whale! Twist it to raise the lip balm up. It’s so random and weird because the brand isn’t exactly known for their whimsical packaging. They went really simplistic with the purple with white font suddenly having a whale on the packaging is an easter egg I didn’t know I needed.

Florence by Mills Oh Whale! Lip Balm is $12 and available now at Ulta.

Hey, you know what else is available this week? The Enola Holmes Mysteries on Netflix. Sign me up for a binge! I do so love anything involving our most beloved Detective! Imagine if Andrew Scott just randomly popped up in The Enola Holmes Mysteries? I mean a girl can wish for awesome things to happen right? If you miss him as much as I do watch Flea Bag on Amazon Prime!

P.S. Happy Tuesday friends! I hope it’s a productive one for you!
