Blowing Bubbles With Your Micellar Water Is Just Gross Not Life Changing
A few weeks ago I watched a Tiktok that told me I’ve been using Micellar Water wrong. As with all things Tiktok a video went viral featuring a girl blowing into a cotton pad soaked with Micellar Water and creating a foam. She preludes the video with, “You don’t use micellar water by pouring it onto a cotton pad”. Her technique or as it’s being called, “the Tiktok Micellar Water hack”, is to soak your cotton pad with micellar water, place it on your mouth, and blow into the back of the unsaturated side. This causes the water to create a foam, which you apply to your face.
Yeah, but no…. If this isn’t a Vicky Pollard teachable moment I don’t know what is. I didn’t bring this up when I originally saw it, but I wanted to have a deep discussion about it or maybe I just wanted to rant. It came to my attention again because the hack is going viral yet again and I’m just sitting here babbling to myself, “Yeah but no but yeah but noooo…!”

Flower Beauty E.T. Eyeshadow Palette Is Adorable Nod to Drew Barrymore’s Early Acting Years
The new Flower Beauty E.T. Eyeshadow Palette is available for a limited time and features eight cosmic shimmers and stellar metallics. This is an adorable way to relive the adventure and magic of one of Drew Barrymore’s most beloved films. I don’t know if there’ll be more pieces in this collection, but as of now, ulta.com has the palette for $20. And I can honestly, say the palette isn’t really appealing to me. It’s a mix of shimmery grays, blues, and whites (there’s a little pop of pink in there too!)! It does keep with the celestial theme they are going for that’s for sure. But I don’t look particularly good in shades like this so, that’s pretty much the only thing preventing me from indulging. The front of the palette features the original E.T. artwork and the inside features a photo of the iconic moment when Drew kissed E.T. on the head.
