I know I have a lot of makeup already but I have to admit I love purchasing makeup around this time of the year because of all the sales. The interesting thing about this time of the year is that I’m not really out their grabbing all the new Holiday sets but I sort of browse through and explore a brand’s core catalog because that’s where the real gems are. I’ve been disenchanted with MAC for a while. They may catch me here and there with a new highlighter or a blush but their limited edition eyeshadows are sort of meh as are some of the eyeshadow palettes they do. Thankfully MAC is one of the brand’s that really slowed their role. MAC Collections always came fast and furious even before fast and furious was a thing MAC was churning out collections like four times a month (slight exaggeration) and like many makeup junkies I lived for it. MAC has definitely timed their releases better and they aren’t nearly as plentiful as they once were.
MAC is having their 30% off sale at the moment (no code needed) and I decided I would explore some of their single eyeshadows during this time because you can score them at such a deal ($12 each).
So here’s one of my favorites (more to come) if you love a good matte brown!
NARS is having their Black Friday sale! Get 20% Off any order with code HOLIDAY or spend $150+ and get 30% off!
Enjoy!
Biossance 100% Squalane Oil is definitely one of my skincare life’s greatest joys. I love this stuff. As a girl who suffers from dry skin I’m always looking for the best routine to get my skin smooth, plumped, and well hydrated. Hyaluronic acid is a superstar product for plumping up and hydrating skin but squalane oil is definitely one to grab if you really need a moisture rich experience and Biossance makes a great one.
And hey, on sale as biossance.com Black Friday is on and you can grab 30% off your total with code BF30!
Pink Gumdrop the Beat Body Mist is part of the I Love Candy Collection that re-launched recently at Victoria’s Secret. You might recall Gumdrop the Beat was a scent they had last year and I’m glad to see it back because I missed it last year. I want to throw it out into the universe that lately I really like all these fun gourmands that have been launching in the Pink line! I wish VS’s sister brand, Bath and Body Works, would get on board with all these candy and foody scents! I’m a lover of fun, girly scents! Give me candy, give me cakes, and ice cream, give me all the sweet things in a fragrance! I’m all over it.
When I saw the notes on this I instantly new I had to have it! Pink Gumdrops yes, please!
