Eyeko Sparkle Powder Review

Did you know the Muse likes a bit of sparkle, shimmer, and shine? Obviously right?

Put a tiny bit of sparkle into your looks with Eyeko Sparkle Powder! An ickle pink cardboard box holds a deliciously candy scented powder puff that’s loaded up with iridescent sparkling powder that can be used on face, cheeks, and if you so please puff some onto eyes!

I’ve been meaning to review this since I got my order late Summer sheesh can you see how behind I am with reviews? Bad Muse! But something good does come out of it considering that the holiday is upcoming and I think many of us like a bit of sparkle for this time of the year so here in is an ideal little solution.

The sparkle is in the puff so it’s pretty much mess free! Simply dab the puff onto the places where you’d like a bit of shimmer and you’re good to go! The scent is a vanilla cotton candy blend that’s quite pleasant and girlish!

I think for the most part the appeal is in the packaging in this case as the puff and little box is too adorable! I do think that the price tag is a bit expensive considering it’s price tag of £5. But hey I love shimmery bits and bobs so I’m happy to have this in my stash!

If you’re interesting in nabbing this you can get it now with Free Worldwide Shipping from Eyeko!

Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes Review

If you’re looking for an inexpensive, gentle cleansing facial wipe look no further! Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes are now available at your local Duane Reade for $5.99 USD or less…I say less because I seen ’em at my Duane Reade for $4.99 USD weeeeeee love a good deal!

These are quick, gentle cleansing towelettes for removing makeup on the fly even waterproof mascara! These are actually really good for those with sensitive skin as they are uber gentle on skin. Although I simply adore MAC Cleansing Wipes and Biore I do feel like I get slightly dry skin from them and also they sting a tiny bit…weird I know since my skin is so not sensitive but I get a tiny bit of a burning sensation from both and I’m not entirely sure why!

So when I tried Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes I was rather surprised how gentle they were on my skin without any sticky after feel, stinging, or dryness! They are 100% Alcohol Free and Oil Free!

If you like the sound of a simple, easy and quick wipe that’s budget friendly head on over to Duane Reade to nab some now!

Tried these?

Love ’em?

on10 Disney Snow White the Seven Dwarfs Lip Balm Gift Set

on10 really steps up to the plate with some of it’s new gift sets! Whoa.

The new on10 Disney Snow White the Seven Dwarfs Lip Balm Gift Set totally caught my eye! This contains nine lip balms in all different flavors with a cute little Snow White theme! Ahhhh! Loves it!

For $38 USD you’ll get:

Ruby Red Grapefruit
Evil Apple
Blueberry
White Vanilla
Peach Blush
Coconut Mango
Grumpy Grape
Cheery Cherry
and for those not so into flavored balms you’ll get one unscented, unflavored balm!

Taking the $38 price tag into consideration you’ll be paying around $4.22 USD per a gloss and honestly that’s a steal considering how good on10 balms are! Sweet!

If you’re not into the entire Disney scene you can nab on10 Life of the Party which includes nine Tootsie Roll themed balms!

This set includes:
2 Chocolate
2 Vanilla
2 Cherry
Lemon
Orange
Lime

Although they didn’t get creative flavor wise with the Tootsie Roll set it’s still a nice load of product and makes for a great opportunity to split open and share with friends as a little gift or a stocking stuffer!

The Muse can’t help but be excited about these! I think they are ideal for gifts or to spoil yourself!

Love ’em!

Holiday Collection 2008: The Body Shop Sparkling Seductive Collection

The Body Shop has updated it’s website with the new holiday collection which includes a slew of new makeup items! In particular the new palettes have caught my eye although they do look somewhat matte I have hopes that the title of the collection “Sparkling Seductive” means that the finish has a sparkle! I’m disappointed I didn’t indulge in last year’s palettes as they were quite nice so I keep hope alive that these are equally as gorgeous!

The palettes are $24.50 USD each and come in two variations with five eyeshadows each. The first palette looks warm and second palette has a cooler, evening feel. I’m partially to the warm one with the gold an coral, very nice!

The collection also includes a sparkle lipgloss in two shades for $16.50 USD each. These aren’t too appealing to me since I’m not big on heavy duty sparkle in my glosses however the dusky rose shade is quite lovely!

The Body Shop Sparkle & Shimmer Powder Puff looks interesting! This one is a loose gold powder that can be used on face, body, or cheeks! Available for $18 USD.

And finally two glitter eyeliners are available for $15.50 USD each.

Although a majority of the collection doesn’t particularly thrill me, I am excited about the palettes and curious about the finish so I will be heading in store to have a little peek for myself!

All in all a rather nice little selection of goodies from The Body Shop!

What do you think?

Want any of it?

Love it?

Not so much?
