MAC Cremesheen Gloss in Petite Indulgence FOTD

As per your request! And FOTD using MAC Cremesheen Gloss in Petite Indulgence! Jump ahead for a peek!

Love, love this shade! It’s such a great bubble gum pink color!

It quite reminds me of the Dior Addict Ultra Gloss Reflect in 577 released with the Spring Collection for ’08.

Truly a fab color! I wish I had extra time this morning to do my makeup a bit better with a brighter shade of pink shadow to compliment the color of the gloss.

MAC Cremesheen is coming at you soon so keep your eyes peeled for it’s release!

Clarins Joli Rouge Perfect Shine Sheer Lipstick Review, Swatches, Photos, and FOTD Raspberry, Papaya, Praline, and Fig

Now the only that gives me hope is my love of a certain Joli Rouge Perfect Shine Sheer Lipstick from Clarins!

Ahhh Clarins Joli Rouge Perfect Shine Sheer Lipstick truly beautiful to behold! Clarins Spring Collection 2009 includes some seriously beautiful items but nothing, in the Muse’s opinion, outshines the eight shades of brand new Joli Rouge Perfect Shine Sheer Lipstick.

Wow, simply wow. These are stunning lipsticks and truly gorgeous to say the least. I recently fell in love with the original formula of Clarins Joli Rouge Lipstick this past Fall, needless to say that these new versions are outstanding and quite a popular product with the Muse at the moment.

Is it a gloss? Is it a lipstick? Joli Rouge Perfect Shine Sheer Lipstick hasn’t quite made up it’s mine what it is and that’s just fine by me as I get the benefits of a pigmented lipstick along with the beautiful shine and glossy finish of a lipgloss! Likey!

My review will start with four shades of Clarins Joli Rouge Perfect Shine Sheer Lipstick and later this week or next week I’ll bring you swatches, photos, and FOTD’s of the remaining shades. Yes, the Muse has all the shades and thinks YOU need all the shades too as this is unquestionable my most favorite lipstick at the moment with no end in sight!

Each lipstick has a super glossy, emollient formula that glides on with a hint of a shimmery finish. Pigmentation is fantastic and you’ll get a wonderful pop of Spring (or Summer) color especially considering Clarins went all out with the beautiful shade choices in the collection. The lipstick is long wearing and highly moisturizing so those with dry lip woes will greatly appreciate the beautiful formula. Each lipstick carries a fruit punch like taste which is quite pleasant, I heart flavored lipsticks! These come housed in a silver mirror tube that carries an air of elegance but the color on the inside can’t be mistaken for anything but pure fun!

The colors I’m reviewing and swatching for you today are Fig which is a warm brown shade with touches of peach and hints of silver shimmer, Praline which is a lovely nude beige almost champagne shade, Papaya which is a loud fun orange coral, and Raspberry which is an offbeat pink shade with touches of purple.

Apologies the FOTD photos of me wearing the lipstick are from my recent Urban Decay Cream Shadow Review. Sorry guys! I thought I’d kill to birds with one stone 😉

Overall, if you’re on a tight budget this season I urge you to pick up at least one of these fabulous lipsticks as they truly are a fabulous find! They come with my highest seal of Muse Approval for purchase.

Who would love ’em?

  • Anyone that loves a dual product that acts as both a gloss and a lipstick!
  • Those with dry lips that like a glossy, emollient, moisturizing lip product.
  • Women who enjoy a bit of shimmer and shine in their lipsticks!
  • Anyone who adores bright, fun colors in their lipsticks!

Clarins Joli Rouge Perfect Shine Sheer Lipstick promises a beautiful glossy finish but brings so much more to the table with it’s pigmented formula and gorgeous shade selection. These are a fond favorite for Spring and well into the Summer!

Likey!

You needs ’em, like yesterday!

Run to Clarins and snag some for yourself!

Love ’em?

Tried ’em already?

On your wish list?

Tell the Muse!

Stick around for the sequel review of this post which is coming at you soon with new shades of this great lipstick!

Essence of Beauty Blender Brush Review

I was wandering around CVS a few days ago. I blame my aimless wandering on some sort of alien force that swayed me to enter the doors of a US drugstore because I’d honestly never set foot in a drugstore otherwise…wasn’t me…I was possessed….had to be that.

Anyway!

I was wandering aimlessly and I came across the Essence of Beauty Blender Brush and promptly purchased it!

This isn’t my first run in with Essence of Beauty makeup brushes and I sure do wish I’d just take the plunge already and purchase a few as they are damn good brushes for the price!

The Essence of Beauty Blender Brush is a pocket size wonder that works fantastic at buffing in mineral powder, adding a dash of blush to cheeks, or works fab at sweeping a thin layer of powder under the eyes for a quick touch up. It blends cheek color seamlessly onto my face and tucks nicely into my purse for quickie touch ups. I’m not partial to mineral foundation but this brush definitely makes application way easier and much nicer, possibly making a mineral foundation lover out of me as it blends flawlessly.

The bristles are super soft, the handle is nice and chubby so it fits nice and steady in my hand, and did I mention it’s only $7.99 USD? Where can you get such a nice brush at that price?

Honestly, if you’re looking for some seriously great brushes at a budget friendly price and not wanting to dish out for costly MAC or counter brushes check out the Essence of Beauty line up at CVS as it’s really a great steal and a deal.
