I can’t believe I’m saying this but I think I’ll avoid this as I’m not feeling the love for pastels anymore. The Muse was loving the Shu Spring Collection and all those pretty girly light shades but at the moment I’m off the pastels.

Banila Co Dear Flower Palette consists of six pastel shades that look lovely enough but as I said far from appealing to this Muse!


Two new blushes that mimic MAC Beauty Powder Blush look very nice although colors do look a bit light and possibly chalky!

Three new lipsticks in the Dear Flower packaging. These are nice darker shades that give a bit of sizzle to contrast nicely with the lighter shades of the palette!


A luminous base adds a bit of a Spring time glow to face and cheeks!


Two brand new marble shadows which are kinda of a rerun. Banila Co is fond of putting our blue and green marble shadows over and over and over again. Very pretty but too much of the same is never a good thing!


Banila Co Dear Flower definitely looks like a nice little stash of goodies for the Spring but nothing attracts me overly much or cheers at me to pick it up so I’m happy sitting here staring at it all from my monitor. I look forward to seeing what Etude House next releases as Korean Collections of late have been a tiny bit boring.

If you are indulging you’ll be happy to know won is still converting beautifully to USD. With the economy slightly on the rise we may see it finally even out shortly but for now you’re getting an incredible deal.

There’s something terribly attractive about peaches. Sweet, juicy, and fuzzy….ok, well maybe the fuzzy part isn’t all that appealing!


L’occitane obviously knows the value of a good peach which is why they have a brand new collection dedicated to that sweet, juicy, fuzzy fruit!

L’occitane Peach Blossom is a brand new exquisite fragrance that combines the scent of velvety white peaches with lemon, and bergamont with a base of
musk, iris, and tonka bean.

Considering how much I adore the lemony goodness of L’occitane Verbena I could probably quickly get on board with L’occitane Peach Blossom.

The collection is an array of limited edition pieces that include an EDT, lip gloss, body gel, shower gel and more! Prices range from $12-$46 USD. I was particularly delighted that the EDT was $46 USD as isn’t the 3.4 oz normally around $67-$76 USD or am I totally losing my mind here?

I’m feeling the love so I think I’ll head out to L’occitane too to nab some for a review.

Although small the Urban Decay Summer Collection has me drooling already! I can barely wait to get my hands on a few of the pieces being released. The Muse is always feeling the love for a little UD.

Possibly my favorite piece in the collection I like that they included all the baked shadows and a stunning ocean green to go along with it. It’s sort of a vampy, funky Bobbi Brown Surf and Sand palette for the hipper girl. Loves it!
