As I type this I am holding in my hand thee must have palette of the Season, the Muse dubs it so, thus it must be so (was that even a sentence?). I’m talking about the brand new Kat Von D True Romance Eyeshadow Palette in Gypsy!

The Muse has never been so emotional over a palette in her life. Kat Von D continues to impress me more and more lately so much so I find the need to go to Sephora and add all her eyeshadows into my cart and just look at them and sigh…I never click submit but I dream about doing it.

Kat Von D True Romance Eyeshadow Palette in Gypsy whoa. I couldn’t pass up snagging this gorgeous palette for 15% off recently and boy am I ever glad I did because it’s stupid gorgeous. I’m so enthralled at the moment that I just want to pet it and whisper sweet nothings in it’s ear so it may be a while before I actually swatch it…it’s just too pretty!

The Muse promises a review soon but please for the love of god don’t wait! Run to Sephora and get one now. As for me I’m going to light some candles and make sweet love to it tonight….or not….we’ll see what happens….wink!

The Muse had a sincere case of nostalgia when she noticed that Sephora is selling the Escada Coffret again. Sniff, excuse me I had to wipe a tear from my eye.

The Muse remembers years back when she purchased her very first Escada Coffret. The love affair started soon after.

Le sigh!

The new Escada Coffret at Sephora couldn’t help but bring back those memories. Available for $35 USD it contains six mini Escada fragrances. Ahhhh the memories…..the fond, fond memories.

If your favorite cosmetics are on sale at your local drugstore chances are they might run out of a color you really, really want. Or maybe you’re inclined to stockpile like Armageddon when your favorite brand is being discounted.

The Muse suggests snagging a rain check when this happens. Rain checks normally have no expiration date or are good for a year. That means you can replenish your favorite mascara or foundation at your drugstore when you run out and at the sale price! Just ask the sales cashier for a rain check on so and so product when it’s on sale and stick it somewhere safe. When you’re ready for that new mascara whip our your handy rain check and get it on sale! Normally cash reps write out rain checks for 4 to 6 products so that means they’ll allow you to use the same rain check for six times! The Muse does this when Milani is on sale for buy one get one! She’ll stash away the rain check and use it again when she needs it and not have to wait until Milani is back on sale to do so.

If your favorite color is out of stock during a sale again you can ask for a rain check and get it next week when they restock the display!
