Avon and Mark are taking on the new Too Faced Melted Latex Liquified High Shine Lipsticks with their new Pout Vinyl Lip Paint! These new lip paints pack on pigmented color with the promise of a super shiny finish. They even have a built in primer that gives lips a smooth, even coat of color. Avon claims these last for hours without feathering or bleeding.
But if glossy isn’t your finish of choice you can also indulge in Avon Pout Velvet Lip Paint! These have the same great pigmentation as the Vinyl formula but with a smooth, velvety, matte finish. Avon offers them in four shade selections and and prices them at $12 each.

Get ’em at avon.com.
It’s been a while since Avon released any new color cosmetics or at least it feels ages to me. I’m curious to try these! Lately, the market is flooded with Too Faced Melted dupes a plenty like Covergirl’s new Melting Pouts. Surprisingly some of the budget options are just as good as Too Faced’s formula!
Let’s see how Avon does with the trend!
Anyone try these yet?

Mark y u so expensive? I might consider the Mark Dream Sequins Shimmering Eyeshadow Palette if it wasn’t $28 ouch!
This limited edition colorful Holiday 2015 Eyeshadow Palette contains 15 bright, shimmery shades of shade with a new pigment technology that promises rich, vivid color for lids.
Pretty, pretty but a little too rich for me.
Mark shouldn’t be this expensive.
But if you want it, get it, at avon.com.

Mark Coral Glow Touch & Glow Shimmer Cream Cubes All Over Face Palette ($16) recently launched with the Mark Summer 2015 Collection. You might already own a Mark Touch & Glow Shimmer Cream Cubes All Over Face Palette! I know I do! But Coral Glow is a new shade selection and probably one of my favorite shades selections in this product as I’m a lover of anything coral and this provides such a delightful luminous golden peach on my cheeks.
Yes, please!
Mark Coral Glow Touch & Glow Shimmer Cream Cubes All Over Face Palette is made up of a selection of lovely Summer-y shimmer shades of coral, gold, peach, and bronze. The palette doubles up for use as a highlighter or as blusher (you can even dab shades on your eyes as an eyeshadow if you like!).

Mark Coral Glow Touch & Glow Shimmer Cream Cubes All Over Face Palette

Mark Coral Glow Touch & Glow Shimmer Cream Cubes All Over Face Palette Swatches
This a nine shade palette made up of shimmery cubes with a hybrid creamy powder formula! The texture is very interesting as it is quite creamy and works best when you gently pat it onto your skin using your fingertips. I find swirling a brush into the shades is a bit messy since the cream will stick to the bristles of your brush! Personally I swirl my fingers in all the shades, smile, and dab it gently onto my cheeks! You can use a kabuki but again it does cause a little bit of a messy split with bristles so the denser the brush the better it’ll prove for application. I found the original formula was a tad too frosty for me but I experienced great results with Coral Glow. I find this palette has a mix of both creamy and shimmery shades so you do get a hint of shimmer but not so much you end up looking frosty or like a disco ball. The texture blends nicely and adds a subtle kiss of luminous golden coral to cheeks.
If you’re a found fan of Bobbi Brown Shimmerbricks this is kinda along the same concept but with a creamy to the touch texture that’s easier to apply and far less shimmery!
Summer’s here and I’m all about touches of coral and peach on my cheeks and Mark Coral Glow Touch & Glow Shimmer Cream Cubes All Over Face Palette provides the perfect radiant coral on my cheeks.

Loves!
This one is worth a pick up!

The new Mark Coral Glow Touch & Glow Shimmer Cream Cubes All Over Face Palette looks might tempting! You might already own a few versions of the older Mark Touch & Glow Shimmer Cream Cubes All Over Face Palette which was available in bronzer shade and a colored version.
I’m quite interested in the coral one! It looks quite love for Spring!
The new Mark Coral Glow Touch & Glow Shimmer Cream Cubes All Over Face Palette ($16) has nine shimmery shades of bronze, gold, and gorgeous coral. In my experience, with the Shimmer Cream Cubes they are fairly sheerer but I kinda have hopes this new coral version will work as an all over blush with a luminous finish.
I love Spring because typically brands start launching all their best coral shades but this year I haven’t really seen any corals that grabbed me. Most brands seem to be really focusing on contoured, sculpted cheeks paired with naked eye look!
Needless to say it’s nice to see something coral finally!
The Mark Coral Glow Touch & Glow Shimmer Cream Cubes All Over Face Palette is a bit expensive at $16 so expect me to be stalking E-bay for a deal!

The Mark Eye Dream of Glam Ultimate Eye Shadow Palette ($40) is a new, limited edition eyeshadow palette (the first of its kind from Mark) featuring 16 shades of marbleized eyeshadows with a luminous metallic finish.
Does anyone remember the Jesse’s Girl Baked Powder Eye Shadow Palette? This quite reminds me of it!

The Jesse’s Girl Palette was $5.99 so I am cringing mentally at the $40 price tag on Mark’s version.
Wonder if it’s any good?

Remember that cool Avon Retro Charm Collection released too LONG ago?! Anyway, I loved the blush in that collection…and I was thinking the new Mark Chic Frills Powder Blush kinda looks like it, different color of course.
This features a lacy design with two shades which can be swirled together or applied individually.
Might pop that into the cart for a buy but truly dislike Mark’s prices, they just seem to go up and up and up! This is $14! Ouch!
But Likey none the less.
Tell you what else I like, Jamie Dornan doing his best Master of the Universe impression. Yum. There are no words.

If you MAC MSF you’re bound to adore Mark Light Show Illuminating Face Powder ($16)!
Mark Light Show Illuminating Face Powder is a baked highlighting powders with swirls of shimmering gold, peach, and pink!
Take a look!

This is a stunning powder but it is heavy on the gold shimmer so beware prior to application. It’s pigmented enough to act as both a highlighter and blush on fair skin tones but sheerer for those with medium, tan, or darker tones. If you have a deeper skin tone it adds a touch of radiance to cheeks and face with a golden beige glow that’s very pretty! For those with lighter tones, used as a blush, it’ll give you a golden beige peach sheen on cheeks and face.
The texture is slightly gritty but still manages to be silky and smooth upon application. The texture runs powdery but isn’t chalky. It applies fairly flawlessly on my cheeks and gives the perfect lit from within glow. If I’m heavy handed I did notice I end up looking a touch too shimmery so just blend well and check ALL mirrors in a variety of different light settings prior to leaving the house less you get a little too much glow on ladies and lads.

I adore MAC Skinfinishes so this was a no brainer for me. I generally liked baked highlighter powders because I find them easier to use and they always add a pretty candlelit radiance to my skin!

Do like this one!

Mark Gift of Gab Phone Case and Lip Gloss ($16) fills this girl’s need for cute accessories AND beauty all in one. Do love! Just wish they made it for the iPhone 5 grumpy pants frown!
The Mark Gift of Fab Phone Case brings together a cute cellphone wallet and case along with Mark’s Glow Baby Glow Lipglosses into one fab little set for girls and guys on the go.

My best friend told me at this point in my tech life that I probably could have own five iPhones for the amount I’ve spent on cases, wallets, and accessories! He’s probably right.
I just love cute cases, sue me!

Mark takes my love of beauty and accessories and combines it into this cute Gift of Gab Phone Case. You can fit an iPhone 4/4S into the this button snap wallet on one side and the opposite side has three slots for credit cards, id, etc….best part? The charm on the wristlet of the wallet holds three mini Mark Glow Baby Glow shades in Peek a Boo and Girly Girl. I really like the Glow Baby Glow Lipglosses anyway so this is a perfect way to tote them around for quickie touch ups. The glosses have a peppermint taste and flavor with a sheer hint of sparkle and a glossy finish.

So how many Mark On the Dot Palettes do we have now? Well there’s a new one! The new Mark On the Dot Smokey Eye Color Compact for the Fall 2013 season ladies and lads.
Take a peek!

We did pastel, neutral, and even fun now it’s time for Smokey!
The Mark On the Dot Smokey Eye Color Compact takes on a smoky, sultry look for Fall!
The On the Dot Smokey Eye Color Compact is pricey at $16 ouch and smaller as the shadows are less than a dime in size but if you can get passed that this has some fun essential shades for a smoky blue or green look.

This comes in a small compact which has a tiny strip of a mirror located at the bottom of the compact. Inside you’ll find nine shades of shadows dominated by blues and silvers with some forest-y greens thrown in for good measure. They have fairly good pigmentation with a velvet-y texture that applies easily onto lids without fall out. They are a bit heavier on lids so they look cakey if you aren’t careful! I’d suggest a sponge applicator to blend it to a super soft, even finish. Color stays best and truest with primer underneath but typically fades quickly without and loses intensity within a four hour period before showing signs of creasing and fading without the aid of a primer.
I think the palette is fun and I’d likely make use out of these shades easily. Typically blue isn’t my color of choice but these definitely have appeal and aren’t so pigmented that they emphasize my dark circles. My issue is cost….$16 is a bit too high for a palette of this size. Mark continues to go higher and higher with their pricing and I’d love to have them cut down slightly. $10 would be the perfect price for this cute palette and make it utterly budget friendly.
At $16 I’m thinking borderline twenty bucks and that’s a tad high!
Cut the price and you’d have a happy girl here Mark!

Mark Wonder Glow Blush & Glow is part of Mark’s 10th Birthday Collection! Mark is turning ten this year and to celebrate they are gracing us with this gorgeous glowing shade of peachy blush.
Take a peek!

Mark Wonder Glow Blush & Glow ($16) is a delightfully glow-y shade of warm peach! I was a little worried at first because typically I can only use some of these products as a highlighter since they are a tad too subtle for my liking! Pretty but subtle. However, Wonder Glow Blush & Glow brings together a pretty luminizing shades as well as a pretty as peach pie blush to add a color and luminosity to cheeks!

The blush has a a pretty mosaic-like design that contains the richer, warmer shade of orange-y peach towards the outer rims with the lighter, more subtle shades of highlighter towards the center. The highlighting shades are made up of a darker pinkish purple and creamy beige which add a little touch of radiance to the deeper shade of peach. There isn’t any particular no know how for application! Simply swipe your brush in the shades, smile, and apply to the apples of your cheeks! The powder brings a lighter, fresh burst of color to cheeks that can easily be built up in intensity. It has a soft, satiny feel with a heavier baked-like consistency in the pan. I love the glow it adds to my cheeks! I’m a huge lover of peachy blushes and this has the right balance of orange and peach with just the right amount of gleam that never looks shimmery or overly sparkly.

Mark Wonder Glow Blush & Glow surely is a lovely little Fall blusher!
