L’Oreal Glow Paradise Balm-in-Lipstick is a new tinted lip balm that reminds me of days of old! Who remembers L’Oreal Colour Riche Caresse Lipstick, L’Oreal Pop Balms, and L’Oreal Colour Riche Balm from several years ago? I totally thought of those when L’Oreal launched this new Glow Paradise Balm-in-Lipstick. This formula is supposed to have the hydration of a lip balm but the color of a lipstick sort of the reverse of what they were going for with the L’Oreal Glow Paradise Lip Balm-in-Gloss which has the shine of a gloss and the moisture of a balm!

These are also currently on sale during Ulta’s National Lipstick Sale if you wanna pick a few shades up at either ulta.com or target.com!

Let’s take a look!

L’Oreal Glow Paradise Balm-in-Lipstick come in a clear square barrel case that resembles the L’Oreal Colour Riche Shine Glossy Ultra Rich Lipstick cases! You can easily tell them apart though if you store them together as the Glow Paradise Balm has a rose gold casing with a clear top whereas the lipsticks have a silver case with a clear top. It holds 0.1 oz of balm and will set you back $8 to $11 per shade.

This formula’s claim to fame is the fact it’s apparently formulated with 92% natural origin ingredients. It has a very light rose scent that’s barely detectable which deserves mentioning if you’re sensitive. I personally wasn’t offended by it at all as L’Oreal lip products are notoriously overpowering when it comes to flavor and fragrance. I detected no flavor here and only the very lightest rose scent.

L’Oreal Glow Paradise Balm-in-Lipstick Swatches (Nude Heaven)

The formula feels more like a lightweight lipstick than a balm. It’s soft, creamy, lightweight and glides onto lips easily with a nice pop of color. I got the shade Nude Heaven and it’s a pretty, easy-to-wear nude. If you’re prone to drier lips like I am you’ll be happy that this provides a good deal of moisture with a nice bit of shine as well. It doesn’t wear for terribly long but the three hours it did wear it provided quite a bit of hydration and made my lips feel soft and smooth well after it wore away.

I do wish the color range was a bit more flattering. I think many people will struggle (especially WOC) with these colors. Oddly, the promo pics look really lovely but seeing them in person the shades were all a good deal lighter and unflattering for my tone in my humble opinion.

If you’re into quick swipe-and-go lipsticks that provide a good deal of moisture I think L’Oreal Glow Paradise Balm-in-Lipstick will be a nice pickup! It provides color, moisture, and shine in a nice, neat packager!

L’Oreal Glow Paradise Lip Balm-in-Gloss is a new hybrid formula lipgloss that has the color and shine of a gloss but the texture of a creamy lip balm with a moisturizing formula that contains pomegranate extract and hyaluronic acid. This formula kind of reminds me of the old Almay Liquid Lip Balm but has a much nicer consistency!

I’m prone to drier lips which means I tend to go with moisturizing lipglosses. I also prefer a shinier lip look and these are a perfect combination of a gloss and a balm with the color and shine of a lipgloss but the hydration of a lip balm.

L’Oreal Glow Paradise Lip Balm-in-Gloss is available in 12 shades and is currently part of the L’Oreal main catalog of lipglosses and lipsticks. The price on these varies and can set you back anywhere from $12 to $8 per shade and each shade is 0.23 oz in size. As you can see they are quite lovely to look at. They come in a tapered barrel with a very generous-sized flocked sponge applicator that has a nice bit of bend to it which allows it to glide across the contour of lips easily. They also feature a very pretty rose gold cap that gives them a really luxurious look.

I fell in love with this formula at first application. The formula is light, creamy, and has a slightly balmy consistency that’s very moisturizing on lips. They aren’t incredibly lightweight but they wear quite lovely and feel very hydrating through the wear. The thing I liked most about them is the fact they manage to retain both their shine and moisture throughout the wear. Each one I tried was very pigmented and provided excellent color with a nice glossiness. The wear time was fairly good for me at around three hours without eating or drinking. They are, unfortunately, like most lipglosses, not transfer-proof. But this isn’t an issue for me in the least as I’m perfectly fine with reapplication if it means I can retain that great moisture through the wear. I didn’t detect much of a flavor or a fragrance here but I do believe there is a tiny, little bit of rose that I was able to detect but nothing too dramatic. L’Oreal has seemed to really tone down their fragrance and flavor lately which I’m forever grateful. I had no issues with stickiness from this formula! My lips looked supple, smooth, and shiny after application.

L’Oreal 1.5% Hyaluronic Acid + 1% Caffeine Eye Serum is a fairly new eye serum that contains Hyaluronic Acid and caffeine. The formula is marketed to smooth fine lines and crow’s feet as well as make dark circles appear brighter while firming up the skin under the eyes. The caffeine also acts to depuff eyes for a more well-rested look.

I was skeptical of this and I’ve been debating whether I wanted to dish out $30 bucks on it. I remember when it first launched it was priced at $29.99 but the price dropped to $24.99 and now it’s actually $15.99 on ulta.com! I wish I had waited because I got it at the evil empire for $24.95. I didn’t realize Ulta had it for such a great price! Not to mention I could have used the $3.50 off $15 with code 982719. Oh well!

Anyway, when I purchased it I held tight to my receipt as I was pretty sure I was going to return it. I’m not a fan of L’Oreal’s 1.5% Pure Hyaluronic Acid and I was pretty sure the 1.5% Hyaluronic Acid + 1% Caffeine Eye Serum was going to be as big a bust as that formula.

Boy was I wrong!

L’Oreal Revitalift Derm Intensives 1.5% Hyaluronic Acid + 1% Caffeine Eye Serum is 0.67 oz in size and ranges in price from $16-$30 depending on where you buy it. It comes housed in a glass jar with a unique triple roller applicator that contains stainless steel balls that bend which allow you to easily follow the contour of your eye as you massage the serum under your eyes. The applicator is supposed to be cooling but I didn’t really notice a cooling effect. It’s a great applicator. I love the fact it bends as it works to follow the hollow under the eyes easier due to this.

I am almost completely done with my bottle and I’m ready for a re-purchase so you know this stuff is a keeper. I’ve been using it morning and night for a few months. I use it by itself or for extra moisture I allow it to set and apply eye cream on top. The combo of the two really creates a super plumped-up, well-hydrated area for concealer. I tend to use Clinique Moisture Surge Eye 96-Hour Hydro Filler Concentrate before eye cream but I like this much, much better!

There are a few things to keep in mind with this formula. I’d compare this to a gripping primer. When I say that I mean it can be a bit tacky. The formula is a lightweight gel-like serum that smooths under the eyes quite nicely but as it sets you’ll find it gets tacky which produces a tightening and firming effect. I don’t mind this at all but some people won’t love the tackiness. If you use eye cream on top of it you’ll notice that the tackiness will disappear. Another thing to keep in mind is that if your face is slightly damp during application the formula applies a little bit differently. If you mist your face with a little facial mist pre-application you’ll find the formula is a lot less tacky. This isn’t necessary by any means but if the tackiness bothers you that’s one way to do away with it. Also, Hyaluronic Acid should be applied on damp skin anyway so that’s an added bonus! Personally, I liked the tackiness as it felt like my eye area was much more firmer.

Concealer applies like a dream when I use this prior. The combination of this serum plus my eye cream makes even the driest of concealers look amazing under my eyes. Very smooth, very even. Not to mention I do notice some depuffing with this and a bit of brightening. If you look at my Benefit Floratint review you’ll notice how wide awake my eyes look! I blame this! Not to mention it really plumps up my fine lines beautifully giving the appearance of smoothness under my eyes!

If you break down the formula you’ll notice it contains niacinamide which is great for lightening dark circles! Hyaluronic Acid is a little lower on the ingredient list but not too badly placed. One thing it does contain which may be questionable is Hydroxyethylpiperazine Ethane Sulfonic Acid. Beautypedia explains this could cause free radical damage in the presence of oxygen. However, they have no studies that back that up which means I’m willing to take a chance!

I was pretty skeptical of this because as I said I didn’t love L’Oreal’s 1.5% Pure Hyaluronic Acid but also, some Tiktokers are starting to create a buzz around this. And sadly, I don’t really trust these viral product reviews that people are doing on Tiktok lately. But I’m so glad I took the plunge. I was prepared to hate this and even held tight to the receipt as I was going to return it but it’s a keeper! I hope it doesn’t go too viral that I won’t be able to repurchase it.

Dry eyes? Puffy ones? Finer lines? This is the product you need to ease those issues.

Do you remember that memo we sent out several hundred years ago to brands begging them for more hygienic and airtight jars? Well, it’s happening finally! L’Oreal Revitalift Pressed Night Moisturizer with Retinol launches today and it features a new fresh-pressed jar which keeps the moisturizer not only tightly locked away but also, by not allowing air into the packaging the ingredients and most importantly the retinol won’t breakdown and will remain fresh and well preserved.

This is amazing because we’ve literally been begging brands to do this for ages. The more light and air you’re letting into your moisturizer the bigger the chances are the ingredients are going break down quickly rendering your favorite, and likely expensive, moisturizer useless.

We’ve been begging for tubes for years but the press release jars that have been pretty popular in the Eastern market have slowly trickled to our own shores. We’ve seen a few brands introduce products in these jars lately like Tarte Baba Bomb Moisturizer.

It’s long been my belief they put things in a jar to encourage more sales. If you’re moisturizer suddenly stops working you start to believe it went off, you’ll toss it out, and buy a new one. I’m convinced that’s why they haven’t changed the horrible jar packaging. Most of us do NOT want to dip our entire finger into a jar of moisturizer! This new packaging allows you to press down and a small amount of moisturizer is released while the rest remains tightly sealed in the jar. Genius and long overdue.

Sadly, this packaging hasn’t extended to L’Oreal’s complete line of moisturizers but hopefully, with time they’ll understand how much we appreciate this packaging and redesign other products in their main line with it.

I was at the evil empire last week and ran across these L’Oreal Revitalift Derm Intensives 1.9% Pure Hyaluronic Acid Replumping Ampoules and I swear I was not up for spending $24.99 on them. I don’t really love L’Oreal’s Derm Intensives 1.5% Hyaluronic Acid Serum (do you think I should give it another go?).

The only thing preventing me from trying these capsules is the Hydroxyethylpiperazine Ethane Sulfonic Acid. But I’m sort of willing to overlook it and dive in here.

The original serum has a 1.5% HA complex but the capsules have 1.9%. You know how I’m a sucker for HA. It’s one of my primary anti-aging picks! I’m a huge fan of CosRX Hyaluronic Acid Hydra Power Essence and of course, the superstar of them all, HadaLabo Gokujyun Hyaluronic Acid Lotion which I can’t live without.

Am I willing to cheat on my favs?

L’Oreal Melon Dollar Baby Blush is a new shade in the Blush Of Paradise Collection that popped up on Amazon UK a few days ago (Thanks Anna for the info!). You might recall L’Oreal Summer 2018 brought us the Paradise Fruit Scented Makeup Collection which features a few Paradise Enchanted Scented Blushes. It looks like they might be cooking up a new watermelon themed collection or an extension to the Paradise Enchanted Collection with these new shades.

If the photos anything to go buy it looks like there’s two bronzers or maybe a bronzer and another blush in this launch but the item that caught my eyes was the Melon Dollar Baby Blush. It’s a pretty shimmering light rose from the promo images. Sadly, it does look pretty sheer. Maybe it’ll work better as a highlighter over your favorite blush for a bit of radiance. As for scent, it’s not watermelon! The ingredients have some coconut in it which might give it a fragrance but I don’t think this one will smell like watermelon sadly!

As of now no further information is available about L’Oreal Melon Dollar Baby Blush but as we get nearer to Summer launches hopefully we’ll get more information and if it’ll get a US launch. Worst case scenario we can probably stalk it on lookfantastic.com!

I think Milani has successful bright back the fruit theme for Summer. I see a lot of brands embracing it and I’m not mad about it. I think it’s a cute trend and I’m totally loving all over it.

Been a while since you left the house for a hair cut? Tell me about it! There’s always L’Oreal Elvive Dream Lengths No Haircut Cream Leave In Conditioner for those of us experiencing split ends that can’t get out due to the pandemic.

My hair had literally bypassed my butt by the time I finally became brave enough to head to the hairdresser. Which wasn’t a bad experience at all by the very way! If you’d like to hear about it comment below and maybe I’ll do a post.

I keep it pretty long but it really needed to go after all that time being so long I was experience split ends and my hair simply wasn’t in the best shape due to all that weight. During that time there was one helpful tool! L’oreal Elvive Dream Lengths No Haircut Cream Leave In Conditioner! Cheap as chips, smells amazing, absorbs easily, not heavy, sticky, or tacky, and didn’t leave behind a tone of messy residue.

I’ve been using L’Oreal Elvive Dream Lengths No Haircut Cream Leave In Conditioner since mid-April when I noticed the back of my hair was beginning to look jagged and split. I got it off Target and had it shipped to me with some essentials I had ordered at the time.

I’ve used it since that time and will likely re-purchase it because I really like what it does for my hair. It contains a mix of castor oil, vitamins B3, and B5 and of course, silicone so if that’s something you’re avoiding this isn’t for you.

I started using it for split ends but I’m still using it because it detangles my hair and smooths it so nicely. It actually creates a really smoothing effect if you’re having issues with your hair splitting at the end and looking dry. If you can’t get to the hairdresser’s truly this is the next best thing as it’ll smooth those tired dead ends and make your hair look a lot better. It also detangles hair very easily. Apparently it also prevents heat damage but I don’t dry my hair so, I’m not sure if that works.

This is a lightweight cream that absorbs in a snap. It’s probably one of the lightest split end, de-tangling creams I’ve used. It absorbs in a snap, has a fresh light floral fragrance and it leaves my hair feeling lightly hydrated and conditioned. Best part? I never felt that it left major build up in my hair. I used it for an entire month and never did I feel like my hair was weight down with build up due to use.

Right now, with the pandemic, it’s a little hard to get to your daily hairdresser appointment! This cheap little treatment can go a long way keeping your hair looking smooth, tangle-free, and hydrated.

L’Oreal Gold Mirage Shimmering Eyeshadow and Gold Mirage Crushed Quartz Lipgloss is available today exclusively for Platinum Members at ulta.com. These kind of remind of that exclusive Walmart Collection from last year and the fact that the eyeshadows appear to have a slurry formula they also remind me of the L’Oreal x Camila Cabello Havana Collection! I’m still a little salty I missed hauling those eyeshadows! I got like one shade and loved it but never got my hands on the others!

I will say I’m always happy when L’Oreal embraced a slurry formula. I tend to enjoy this formula. It’s soft, creamy, and has a hybrid-like texture that’s powder but creamy as well much like Japanese eyeshadows.

Sadly, the shade range of the L’Oreal Gold Mirage Shimmering Eyeshadow is a bit lacking as they went with shades I wouldn’t necessarily haul as they lean on the lighter gold and bronze side of the fence. I like something a bit deeper as shades like this tend to drown me out a little bit. The pink does look lovely! There are four shades total.

Along with the eyeshadows there’s a new Gold Mirage Crushed Quartz Lip Gloss in four shades. The molten quartz inspired gloss give lips a sheer shimmering finish for a nude bronzed look!

The L’Oreal Gold Mirage Collection is exclusive to Ulta and includes these lipglosses and eyeshadows along with a Face & Body Luminizer, and a Bronzing Palette that’s not yet available.

Are you loving any of these glosses or eyeshadows?

They went with a more nude bronze look here that might appear a bit pastel on tanned skin if that makes sense. That could be why I’m not into it. I tend to go for more brassy golds versus the very light one in this collection. These shades aren’t quite what I’d reach for when it comes to a bronze-y look! I’d likely love the formula of the eyeshadows but the shades I’m not particularly in love with.

L’Oreal True Match Eye Cream In A Concealer is a new concealer slash eye cream that’s launching for Summer 2020 shortly. This new hybrid formula acts to conceal pesky dark circles as it treats the delicate eye area providing moisture and acting to retain that moisture thanks to a formula that contains 0.5% pure hyaluronic acid.

The is an intriguing formula that’s completely ruined b the ingredients it includes but as a concealer (and an eye cream) junkie it’s my responsibility to try it for you.

So, what do we have here. We have a concealer that promises to act as an eye cream as well. Here’s the deal though….when you’re combining an eye cream and a concealer together you’re basically creating a tinted moisture. In my experience, any product that promises too many things only ever excels at one thing or worst case scenario, it doesn’t excel at any. If this new formula plans to act like an eye cream I can almost guarantee it won’t be pigmented. Hydrating concealers tend to sheer out quite a bit when applied. But there is a chance L’Oreal may be on to something here however, they completely ruin it with the addition of alcohol in the formula.

Ok, let’s take a look. Water, good. Oooo lots of cones. Not a great thing but not an awful thing. Caprylyl Methicone is a good one as it’ll make application smooth and easy. Propanediol not a cone but equally a good for hydrating the delicate skin around the eyes. Dimethicone also provides more of a slippery texture. All these cones are making me wonder if the texture will feel more like a traditional silicone facial primer versus an eye cream. I’m saddened to say Sodium Hyaluronate the 9 ingredient on the list which does make me wonder how well it will actually help to draw moisture in but that actually isn’t my main concern here. My concern stems from the fact they went and threw in alcohol before Sodium Hyaluronate. Anything good here is ruined by the addition of alcohol. You might draw comfort from the fact it’s the 8th ingredient here but it’s still here none the less.

I’ll likely ignore the alcohol and dry this regardless but I have a feeling it’s a formula that won’t make my hit list.

We’ll see though! L’Oreal has surprised me in the past.

L’Oreal x Karl Lagereld launched earlier this month right on time for the anniversary or Karl’s death on Febuary 19, 2019. It’s always unusual to see designers, celebrities, and music icons immortalized in a variety of different collaborations after their death. I imagine the L’Oreal Collection was well underway before his death since he had worked with Shu Uemura, another L’Oreal brand, in the past.

He was a person you really loved or you really hated. In the fashion world, to many, he was beloved but for those of us outside the fashion world looking in there may have been some dislike because Karl wasn’t exactly the nicest person in the world. when he was looking to “stir the pot” so to speak. Karl is no stranger to the makeup world having worked on two Shu Uemura Collection as well as a Model Co Collection and a Sephora one. In his later years, Karl lent his name to a variety of different collaborations and now that he’s gone I have a feeling we’ll see him popping up here and there even more.

Love him or hate him, dead or alive, Karl Lagerfeld returns in this new L’Oreal Makeup Collaboration.

The collection had a fuller release abroad as there is a highlighter and an eyeshadow palette that hasn’t reached our shores. We merely got the Colour Riche Lipstick, volumizing mascara and a graphic liquid eyeliner all of which come in chic black packaging and with Karl’s name scripted across the barrels. Nothing dramatic or as extension as the Shu Uemura x Karl Lagerfeld or the Choupette Collection.

L’Oreal Infallible Matte Lip Crayon ($11.99) is a new matte lip crayon available in 18 permanent shades that launched with the L’Oreal Spring 2020 Collection. I am so deeply impressed that L’Oreal not only released these new Matte Lip Crayons as a permanent part of their collection but also, in a whopping 18 shades. I mean, to have the very nerve to launch such a dry, draggy formula not only as permanent product but also in 18 shades that people may just be hesitant to buy after hearing about the formula sure is an accomplishment ha..!

But I digress because maybe just maybe this could be a Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink kind of thing where everyone LOVES and adores the formula and I’m the oddball that doesn’t. Someone insert one of those shrugging shoulder emojis right here.

I didn’t love Infallible Matte Lip Crayon but it has an interesting formula with some pros and one major con. Keep in mind this formula shouldn’t be compared or likened to the L’Oreal Colour Riche Le Matte Lipcolour Stick that launched a few years ago. This is most definitely very different.

Now I’ll share some of my thoughts and why I think Infallible Matte Lip Crayons have some interesting good points but if you’re wanting a lip crayon I’d likely recommend going with the much better formulated Maybelline Super Stay Ink Crayon that launched last Summer.

So, L’Oreal Infallible Matte Lip Crayon you deserve a bit of sit down. Let’s chat you! 18 whopping shades are available in this formula which I think might be a mistake on L’Oreal’s part as I’m convinced that everyone will agree this is one dry AF formula.

Each pencil is 0.04 oz in size and will set you back $11.99. These are a swivel up design with a smaller slanted tip that fits the contour of lips quite nicely. They call the formula creamy but it really isn’t. It drags across lips in a really dry layer of color. My lips are pretty dry at the moment but even if they weren’t applying this can be a challenge and almost painful. If you can get past the application and the dryness there are some pluses.

L’Oreal Infallible Matte Lip Crayon Swatches (Flirty Toffee)

First off, I was impressed with the color. This is a very pigmented lip color and the shade I got, Flirty Toffee, reminded me of my favorite Bare Minerals BarePro Longwear Lipstick in Nutmeg. This is very richly pigmented and provides a really intense color pay off.

My lips are pretty dry at the moment but the color was actually relatively smooth. It did emphasis my natural lip lines a bit but it didn’t cling to drier, flakier areas on my lips which impressed me. The color was incredibly long-wearing as well! I got six plus hours from it without migration or feathering issues. It does have a sweet caramel perfume flavor and fragrance that I wasn’t terribly impressed with but it wasn’t too strong.

It does apply dry but it’s surprisingly NOT nearly as dry as I expected it to be while I was wearing it. I thought it was going to be soul sucking dry but it wasn’t bad once I was wearing it and although, not lightweight it didn’t feel super drying but it wasn’t moisturizing either that’s for sure!

L’Oreal Infallible Matte Lip Crayon has one major flaw with plenty of other great perks. Sadly, that one flaw is a deal breaker for me. The dry dragging application was a big no for me but some might be willing to overlook it.

L’Oreal Radiant Satin Blush and Radiant Concealer with Hydrating Serum Age Perfect Makeup are two, new Spring 2020 products launching in the Age Perfect Makeup Collection. I’m pretty excited about the Radiant Concealer with Hydrating Serum since this is targeted at a more mature audience. For a while there it seemed like drugstore brands were really targeting younger consumers with blue lipstick launches, etc…! Nice to see a concealer for more mature eyes.

L’Oreal Metallic Rouge Signature Liquid Lipstick are a new finish that are available in six shades for Holiday 2019 that are now available at drugstores. I really enjoyed the original L’Oreal Rouge Signature Matte Lipstick and even though I dislike metallic lipsticks I decided to pick up one of the Metallic Rouge Signature Liquid Lipsticks in the hopes it would make for a fun, festive lip look!

I like that L’Oreal has been adding new colors and finishes of this formula to their catalog. You know when you like a formula and you just want to see more of it? That’s the case with this formula for me. I’m not much of a matte long-wearing liquid lipstick fan but I actually liked this formula when it was launched several months ago so I am happy to see new shades, formulas, and finishes of it.

Let’s take a look at my review of the L’Oreal Metallic Rouge Signature Liquid Lipstick and see what I think!

L’Oreal Metallic Rouge Signature Liquid Lipstick are available in six shades along with three new Glitter Topper shades that are launching now at drugstores for Holiday 2019. I found a display at Harmon’s of these new shades and they were marked as $9.99 each at 0.23 oz. The packaging is the same elegant barrel with the black top and gold L’Oreal face plate. It’s a nice packaging for drugstore makeup! Quite elegant and higher-end looking!

I think the metallic formula is a smidge different from the original all matte version! I found the formula a little thinner and a little less creamier but still with a very easy to apply formula that didn’t cling to drier areas or fall into my natural lip lines. The color was pigmented, very vibrant, had a hint of a metallic sheen but wasn’t too sparkly, too frosty, or overwhelming metallic! I found the metallic finish was just the right amount without being glaring metallic if that makes sense. It was just a really pretty metallic sheen that felt festive and Holiday-like without making me look like Miss Roboto. The initial application is shiny but it sets within a few minutes and wears for several hours without moving, migrating, smudging, or fading. The formula is very lightweight on my lips and doesn’t feel like I’m wearing anything at all! I also didn’t notice any dry feeling through the wear although there is a slight tackiness as the lipstick dries down that isn’t evident in other variations of this formula I’ve tried. Although long-wearing it does remove easily and does leave a little bit of staining behind. There is a subtle perfume-y flavor and fragrance here but it disappears after several minutes.

I selected the shade I Magnetize which is a pretty ruby red slipper shade! Rather perfect for the Holidays don’t you think?

All in all, the L’Oreal Metallic Rouge Signature Liquid Lipstick are fantastic! Lightweight, non-drying, long-wearing, pigmented, and comfortable to wear this is a lovely little metallic lipstick for Holiday looks!

L’Oreal Rouge Signature Metallic Liquid Lipstick and L’Oreal Rouge Signature Glitter Topper are popping into drugstores for Holiday 2019. For a limited time, L’Oreal has launched the Rouge Signature Liquid Lipstick in six metallic shades as well as three glitter toppers which can be used to transform your matte lip color into a sparkly finish one!

New shades include:

• Stupefy
• Magnetize
• Electrify
• Voodoo
• Fascinate
• Scintillate

Glitter Toppers:

• White Gold
• Pure Gold
• Rose Gold

These are currently available at Harmons for $9.99 but should be launching soon at other retailers. L’Oreal’s done a few metallics in the past like Infallible Lip Paint Metallic but never anything as pigmented or as long wearing as the Rouge Signature Liquid Lipstick formula!

I find it interesting they keep finding ways to reintroduce this formula to the market with new shades and finishes. Just this past Summer they had two different launches one of which was the L’Oreal Rouge Signature Parisian Sunset Collection. I don’t find myself minding because it’s actually a wonderful formula! I don’t really love long-wearing matte liquid lipsticks but this formula is lightweight, pigmented, and doesn’t suck the moisture from my lips!

I did haul one of the Holiday shades and I’ll review and swatch it soon! I’m not much for metallics but these did call out to me a bit as they looked beautiful just sitting there on the display!

I picked up one shade of the new, limited edition L’Oreal Rouge Signature Parisian Sunset Matte Colored Ink shades and it was the biggest mistake of my life. These eight shades are new for Summer 2019 and inspired by the sun in Paris as it sets. These shades are gorgeous and oh so perfect for Summer looks. I regret only buying the one but I’ll do another Ulta.com order soon I’m sure considering the threshold is so low for free shipping (It’s $35 at the moment).

The shade I purchased was Amaze which is a gorgeous burnt orange! It’s such a great Summer shade. I have hopes the other colors are just as vivid and gorgeous.

L’Oreal Rouge Signature Parisian Sunset Matte Colored Ink arrives in an elegant barrel with a gold L’Oreal face plate. It’s quite a nice presentable for drugstore makeup. It holds 0.23 oz of product and shades are $11.99 each.

The name implies this is a lip stain of sorts but really it’s more of a matte liquid lip color with a lightweight, comfortable wear that has a semi-matte finish and provides a strong, long wear with a bit of a staining effect when it dries. Initially it does have a wet liquid lipstick look but it does set to a sophisticated matte within a few minutes. This sets to a long-wear so, you’ll easily get several hours of wear from it but it never feels drying. It doesn’t migrate nor feather but it does tissue off easily if you need to reapply it. The formula is very lightweight and comfortable to wear. There is a light perfume-y flavor and fragrance but it disappears within 15 to 20 minutes into the wear. The pigmentation is excellent! You can expect full, opaque color on a single layer! This formula is great as I never experience the horrible dryness of a more traditional liquid lipstick when I’m wearing it.

L’Oreal Rouge Signature Parisian Sunset Matte Colored Ink Swatches (Amaze)

The color I purchased from this line is called Amaze and it’s a stunning warm, burnt orange! Really great for Summer looks and will work beautifully into Fall as it reminds me of falling leaves.

Overall, the new L’Oreal Rouge Signature Parisian Sunset Matte Colored Ink are promising and well worth exploring if you love this formula!
