Jane Satin Split Sticks ($8) are a new satiny lipstick that contain two shades of color for an ombre lip look. The new Satin Split Sticks will be available in five shades and get a launch this September at Kohls and on Jane Cosmetics website.
Let’s take a peek!
I recently tried out Jane Satin Split Sticks in the shade In the Buff which contains a dusky mauvey rose and a nude peach shade. I wish I can say I could see the contrast on my lips but once applied it seems like the nude overpowers the rose of this shade! I love the idea of split lipsticks but they never quite work for me.

Jane Satin Split Sticks Swatches (In the Buff)
This have incredible creamy formula. Wow! They glide on like butter with a thicker, creamier consistency that wears for a solid five hours without feathering or migrate. The cream finish is quite thick but doesn’t feel heavy on lips. They are highly pigmented and provide a full color pay off on a single application. The soft, supple formula is very impressive with an easy, no tug application on lips!
If you love cream finish lipsticks I’m sure you’ll adore Jane Satin Split Sticks! These are gorgeously formulated with a smooth, buttery satin finish!

The Jane Satin Split Sticks and the entire Jane Fall 2014 Collection launches September at Kohls, kohls.com, and janecosmetics.com.

Thanks to Amber who gave me the good news that Revlon, Almay, Physicians Formula, Jane Cosmetics, and Maybelline is marked down 40% at Ulta and Ulta.com from now until April 19th.
This would be a good time to grab up the Revlon Spiderman Collection which is available online! Or might I recommend the Jane Cosmetics Eyeshadow Singles! They are fab! I’m not a fan but you can also try out the new Nude Glow products that Physicians Formula launched for Spring 2014.
It’s definitely a good time to snag some great buys on drugstore makeup!
Happy Hauling!

Another rave today for Jane! Jane Cosmetics Intense Color Lip Gloss ($7) is a highly pigmented lipgloss that won’t break your bank! This one is brilliant.
Take a look!
Jane Cosmetics Intense Color Lip Gloss is everything I love about a budget lipgloss. This is a moisturizing lipgloss with an opaque finish and a super shiny finish. It’s available in 10 shades (Yes, I need more of these in different colors please!) and can be worn alone or over your lipstick for pop!
I tried the shade Million Dollar Smile which is a cooler rosy red. The gloss has a subtle vanilla-ish taste and fragrance that’s quite pleasant but doesn’t last through the wear of the gloss. The formula is slightly tacky and wears for a good three hour to four hours without losing intensity. It feels pleasantly hydrating on my lips through the wear however, it is very pigmented which means it likes to migrate a bit so a clear or colored lip liner in place will prevent that.

There are so few good quality lipglosses with full color at the drugstore so I was delightfully surprised I loved the formula on Jane Cosmetics Intense Color Lip Gloss and got the added benefit of so much pigment!

Likey!
Muse Approval for this one.
Do pick one up or two or three…I won’t judge!
Available now at Ulta and Ulta.com.

If Lancome Artliner or Make Up For Ever Aqua Liners aren’t in your budget you might want to check out Jane Cosmetics Water-Resistant Liquid Eyeliner ($8). Jane Cosmetics recently had a brand relaunch with new products, packaging, and formulas and I must say so far the products have been fab. Loving the Jane Cosmetics Shimmer Eyeshadows!
What’s the new Jane Cosmetics Water-Resistant Liquid Eyeliner like?
Pretty darn awesome.
Jane Cosmetics Water-Resistant Liquid Eyeliner is available in 13 shades, nope, they didn’t skimp on the shades. So you have a wide range of essential shades like black and white but there are also fun shades like gold, baby pink, and this guy I’m reviewing today Golden Black (it’s more of a golden khaki brown).
I don’t regularly use Liquid Eyeliner but this could change my mind. This has precise thin brush applicator for application. It applies easily with a fairly thin line thanks to the thinner brush. I love the shade…! It produces a pretty golden khaki brown line which works great with a smoky natural eye look or even a smoky green one.
The formula sets with 30 seconds of application. Once set it has a glossy finish with a formula that doesn’t flake, migrate, or smudge on my drier eyes. I didn’t have a hiccup during the wear and the shade didn’t lose intensity through a twelve hour period of me running around at work, enjoying some dinner and a movie with friends, and finally home to do laundry and clean up a bit before bed. It’s what you want from liquid liner wear yes?

All in all a rather budget friendly liner with a nice variety of shades to choose from.

Jane Cosmetics Shimmer Eye Shadow ($4) recently relaunched in new packaging and a new formulation. The Jane Cosmetics Makeup Collection is now exclusively available at Ulta and Ulta.com.
I remember Jane from way back in the day! Like high school days! Either way it’s back and better than every before. I had the check myself a minute because when I used one of the new Jane Cosmetics Shimmer Eye Shadows recently I could have sworn was using a buttery, beautiful shade from the Urban Decay Naked Palette.
What?!
True story.
Check it!
I only tried one shade of Jane Cosmetics Shimmer Eye Shadow but if all the shades (and there are a lot of them! Over 30 of them in the shimmer finish alone!) are like this one I am it is on like Donkey Kong!
Truffle is a dark chocolate brown with a soft, velvety texture and excellent full color pigmentation. What you see in the pan is exactly the shade you’ll get on eyes. The texture of the shadow is positively luxurious! I had to check myself and make sure I was playing around with a four dollar eyeshadow because this feels like something far HIGHER end. The smooth, velvety formula glides on lids, blends out to a picture perfect finish, and wears without creasing or fading all through my day!

Wow.
Impressive. Possibly the best budget drugstore eyeshadow I’ve tried in a VERY long, long time.
Needless to say I was floored and quite surprised. I think I’ve been slightly conditioned to believe that drugstore shadows are sometimes not all that great but Jane Cosmetics blows that theory out of the water.
As I said, if all the shades in this collection are as beautiful as Truffle I just might have to own THEM all!
And I won’t break the bank doing it either.

Highly Muse Approved.
Get Truffle, try it out, I bet you’ll ADORE it.

Jane Cosmetics Water-Resistant Eyeliner ($6) is a new pigmented, water resistant retractable eyeliner available in 20 shades that’s available exclusively at Ulta and Ulta.com.
When you’re looking at drugstore eyeliners I’d say this is one of the more extensive shade selections you’ll get in a cream eyeliner especially with vibrant shades like Lime Green, Aqua, etc….I think drugstore liners tend to navigate to more traditional shades so it is surprising to see a variety of shades for under six dollars!
Take a look!
I tried two shades of Jane Cosmetics Water-Resistant Eyeliner and was quite impressed. They aren’t a dupe of Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeliners in any way, shape, or form but they are a close second if you’re on a budget. The wide selection of shades, creamy, long wearing formula, and cheap as chip price tag of six bucks makes them an appealing beauty budget pick for those seeking cheap thrills or just for those who are on a strict beauty budget.
The liners are retractable so a sharpener isn’t necessary. I find the formula quite creamy with a hint of shimmer in some of the shades. They line beautifully without tugging or skipping. The shades have a strong wear on my drier eyes without smudging or flaking off yet still having an easy to blend out formula if you wish to smoke or smudge them out. On my waterline wear time is a little weaker at around three hours (in some cases I was unable to wear on my waterline due to shimmer in the formula so this is based on a single shade only, other shades might wear longer) and on my lash line for 10 hours.

There are quite a few brands that have some vibrant, bolder eyeliner shades such as Milani, Jordana, etc…however, Jane Cosmetics Water-Resistant Eyeliner definitely brings their A game to the table with this collection and offers a wide variety of colors across the board with an excellent formula that wears strong and promises cheap thrills with its mere six dollar price tag.

I’m having a sudden craving for Jane Cosmetics since their relaunch at Ulta. The Jane Cosmetics Multi-Colored Cheek Powder is too cute but ouchie on the price tag…!
These Jane Cosmetics Multi-Colored Cheek Powder are a gorgeous multi-colored cheek powder with a cute floral bouquet design that gives cheeks a sweet pop of color.
They are available in three shade selections:
I have to admit though the $12 price tag threw me a curve ball. Ouchie! That’s quite a good deal of cash for a drugstore blusher……!

More BB Creams on the horizon from your fav drugstore brands this Fall starting with the new Jane Cosmetics Be Beautiful BB Cream. Yes, Jane Cosmetics now has a BB Cream.
I remember Jane from way back in the 7th or 8th grade, I must be old. But I recall it being super hip back in my hay day and making an appearance in teen mags like 17, etc…!
The brand is back full force this Fall with new packaging and exciting new products like this new Jane Cosmetics Be Beautiful BB Cream.
Take a look!
Jane Cosmetics Be Beautiful BB Cream ($16) is possibly the most expensive drugstore BB Cream I’ve seen unless you consider Lumene’s pricing but I always think of Lumene as kinda a mid-range brand anyway. At $16 I was a little shocked especially since Jane has always been rather budget friendly. But hey, if it’s an excellent formula I don’t mind paying the buckage.
This BB Cream is available in a Light, Medium, and Dark shade selection. It promises the typical round of multitasking benefits such as priming, hydrating, smoothing, minimizing pores, and reducing redness while diminishing the appears of fine lines and pores. It does include an SPF 30 as well as a light formula that’s buildable according to Jane.
Haven’t tried it personally but of course, will review it as soon as I get my hands on a tube!

It’s Friday Tuesday I’m in love….with Jane Cosmetics Cream Eye Shadow.
Luminous shimmery cream shadows? Double me up on that dosage. Jane Cosmetics Cream Eyeshadows promise a long-lasting, crease-free formula that can be worn alone or under your favorite powders.
Take a look!

I was busy swatching these a few days ago and kinda fell hard for them. I have a thing for cream eyeshadow the last few years and pretty much am sold on anything and everything cream. Ironic considering I used to hate such a formula!
These are rather gorgeous with a metallic-like finish and a nice bit of sparkle! They come in four shades for $7.99 each. I haven’t yet tried them but expect a review shortly.

Lilac, Gold, and Bronze
I’m loving exploring all these new offerings from Jane Cosmetics. It’s been literally years since I indulged in the brand and remember it from my High School days. It was probably one of my first real drugstore makeup purchases.
