Oh DKNY you slay me!
Your new Sweet Delicious Collection for Spring 2012 includes scents like Pink Macaroon, Key Lime, and Creamy Meringue!
You have my heart.

Fragrantica reports that these fragrances were inspired by inspired by recipes for creamy and delicious cupcakes!
DKNY Sweet Delicious Pink Macaroon (Note: the collection details state this is called Pink “Macaroon” not Pink “Macaron” as there was some dispute that I spelled it incorrectly and didn’t know the difference between a macaroon and a macaron, hope this helps. I know the difference between the two desserts but not sure DKNY does haha!)

DKNY Sweet Delicious Tart Key Lime

DKNY Sweet Delicious Creamy Meringue

I can’t wait to try these.
I might hit up Macy’s later maybe they’ll be in stock.
Whatcha think?

As customary, Delicious gets its revamp for Fall and this year it brings us to the traditional autumn apple, Golden Delicious.
DKNY Golden Delicious starts with orange flower water and a beating heart of floral notes such as white rose and muguet flower. It’s base is a warm mix of musk, sandalwood, and teakwood.
Official notes:
Orange Flower Water, Mirabelle, Golden Delicious Apple, White Rose, Casablanca Lily, Vanilla Orchid, Muguet, Musk, Sandalwood, and Teakwood.
Sounds like Golden Delicious will be a rich, warm scent!
I’m looking forward to trying it!

So yes, I am obsessing a little bit over the new DKNY Juiced Collection! Love! They really need to consider making both the new scents standard items rather than LE as I am freaking out that in a few months I won’t be able to get them anymore.
After trying out the samples I proceeded to order two more bottles of each however after wearing DKNY Be Delicious Fresh Blossom Juiced for the past week, I now feel like I might need one more back up of this scent. I like it even more than the original Juiced version so stocking up on a case of this probably won’t be such a bad idea.
LOVES!

Call me crazy but at first spritz this smells like some sort of exotic, fruity, sweet iced tea! It’s a medley of sweet notes that will make the back of your teeth ache at the sugary sweetness of the blend! So gorgeous! Now it won’t appeal to everyone particularly if you’re not a playful, sweet type of perfume girl however if playful, sweet, succulent, and fruity sounds appealing, you’ll absolutely adore this!
The dominate note of bright freesia is one of the first things I smelled with follow ups of sweet pea and tart apple. When I think of both sweat pea and freesia I definately have retro Bath and Body Works high school flashes, those were two scents I favored in high school and actually find gag worthy in this day and age. However, DKNY manages to combine the notes with just the right blend of apple to enhance both notes and add whimsical sweetness to the blend. Pink grapefruit manages to make its this mix as well however it’s background noise for other floral notes such as Passion Flower, Lily of the Valley, and sweet pink rose petals.

The scent, without a doubt, is an exhilarating blend of succulent fruits and gorgeous floral notes that make up a sweet, beautiful scent which is a sparkling, intense, and oh so very fun fragrance!
I liked Juiced alot but Fresh Blossom Juiced I absolutely adore.
You NEED this.
Some folks won’t get on with this but those absolutely adore sweet floral scents will be all over this and begging for seconds.
Fabulous scent and very well done!
Bad part?
The fact that it’s available for a limited time. OMG Nooooo!

Be Delicious fans gather round you’re going to want hear the good word about the new DKNY Be Delicious Juiced Eau de Toilette. Loves! I wanna sing from the roof top, scream from the mountains, and do a little jig about how fabulous these new variations are!
I also wanna sob my little heart out they are available for a limited time. OMG nooooooo! I must stock up!
These trump last year’s Candy Apple releases in a major way!
Check it!
Here’s the deal, my sister loves Be Delicious, I mean like her life depends on it however I personally do not. I like it well enough but I don’t love it.
However, the new beefed up version? Oh honey that is so love.
They really took Be Delicious in a new direction and indeed juiced it up to the max. Be Delicious Juiced is a more juicer version of the original with fresh bursts of intense apple and other succulent fruits that maxes out the fragrance to a gooey sweetness that should appeal to those who adore juicy, sweet floral blends. I think the appeal of the scent, for me, would be the sweetness!
Juicy, crisp, crunchy apple takes up most of the scent with a dominant note while waves of fresh fruits and a dose of pear create a bold, vividness that the original lacks. I think Be Delicious leans towards more floral where as Juiced comes in with more fruity sweetness. Crushed floral notes of peony, violet, and muguet flowers create a soft wave of floral but this in no way comes through as much as the fruity notes you’ll get on dry down and most definitely do not overpower the crispy, tart green apple.

Downside? It’s only available for a limited time and and in Eau de Toilette format. The Eau de Toilette has a good throw and linger with first spray and wears about three to four hours however it doesn’t linger as long as a parfum would but hey that’s why they have an awesome body lotion, layer, layer, layer!

If you’re a lover of Be Delicious and always wanted it to be a bit fruiter, a bit sweeter, a bit juicer….than DKNY Be Delicious Juiced is for you.
An absolutely must have for those who adore sweet, fruity blends!
Loving on this so hard at the moment.
Well worth a haul!
Gorgeous!

Last Spring we were treated to three variations of the popular DKNY Be Delicious Fragrances in the form of Candy Apple inspired scents.
They were delicious needless to say.
Did you try ’em?
For Spring 2011, DKNY will Get Juiced with two brand new scents!
Check ’em!
DKNY Be Delicious Juiced is a collection of two new scents that add a little something extra to your favorite Be Delicious scents!
DKNY Delicious Juiced is a succulent nectar extract of a New York apple where as Fresh Blossom Juiced is a sugar-rich dew crushed from flowers.
Delicious Juiced is a blend of ripe apples and watery fruits. Juicy New York apples lie at the heart, surrounded by a flirty dose of pear blossom and golden mango nectar. Muguet and white peony add a vivid floracy, complimented by violet petals. The drydown is a sheer wave of creamy woods and white amber to finish the cool refreshment.

DKNY Fresh Blossom Juiced is a medley of just-picked blossoms and petals. The all-pink scent starts with pink grapefruit, bright freesias, fruity cassis and passion flower. It’s a light, fresh scent, perfect for spring. At the heart is an apple, embraced by lily of the valley, pink rose petals and sweet pea. Palisander wood, vetiver mist and white musks add the ultimate soft under layer.

Each fragrance has a core of the original Delicious scent with added notes for a bright burst of freshness.
I seen them at Macys tonight and they will be available shortly at Sephora and other locations including online at www.dkny.com.
I haven’t smelled them yet as I just passed over them on my way to snatch up the new Ed Hardy fragrance, I kinda dig it don’t you? But if you’d like a review do shout out and I’ll see if I can make it happen!
Will you indulge?

This guy pairs up a crunchy crisp green apple with a blend of raspberry and floral…and get this their is even a note of coca-cola in the mix! How funky is that?
I’m actually disappointed because I didn’t get the coca-cola note at all! Darn! It starts off with green apple, very crisp, almost sour-like…you know how green apples have that slight tart sour taste combined with the fruity sweetness? That comes through with this! It follows up with a bright burst of overly sweet raspberries…as if someone stepped on a buncha of raspberries and the scent whiffs up to your nose. And finally it ends with a subtle floral. Dry down goes from being overly sweet to a soft mellow cotton candy-ish note, quite nice really particularly if you’re turned off by the initial sweetness. Like I said though I def didn’t experience the coca-cola aspect but I was kinda hoping for it…seriously coke, candy, and fruit? Hello sugar coma!
Overall, DKNY Delicious Candy Apples have been a pleasure to experiment with. If you’re a big fan of the originals you’ll definitely love the candy apple versions, without a doubt. If you never tried the originals, this is a rather perfect excuse to try the limited edition versions as they are quite special.
Loves!

]]>The post DKNY Delicious Candy Apples Sweet Caramel Review appeared first on Musings of a Muse.
]]>My downfall, around the end of September and through all of October, are Caramel Candy Apples. The combination of a crisp apple covered it gooey caramel and rolled around in peanuts makes my mouth water. They just remind of Fall which is my favorite time of the year.
But of course I was very eager to smell the new DKNY Delicious Candy Apples Sweet Caramel perfume as I felt for sure it would be as warm and and delicious as the real thing.
Jump ahead to get the scoop.
Count me bewildered as DKNY Delicious Candy Apples Sweet Caramel does not smell exactly the way my mind’s eye pictured it. Sadly, I didn’t get any warm notes of caramel but the good news is it is radiant.
If you adore the original Be Delicious scent Sweet Caramel should appeal as it’s a beefed up version of the original. It contains a dominant note of fresh, crisp apple with a dry down that contains both apple, pear, and cucumber to my nose, very fruity, very crisp, very fresh. A very faint appearance of both vanilla and caramel make an appearance but for the most part the apple dominates the overall fragrance.
I found the entire experience with DKNY Delicious Candy Apples Sweet Caramel interesting to say the least. For me it felt like they took the original Be Delicious blend and proceeded to create an amp’ed up version of the fragrance with brighter, happier notes.
If you’re a fond fan of the original Be Delicious I’m positive you’ll want to smell this. Gorgeous.
Long wearing and perfect for girls who like a fruity, sweet blend which manage to stay fresh and not cloying or overly done.
Loves it!

]]>Oh yes Delicious Candy Apples. I’ve been busy testing these guys out and must say they are too cute.
Jump for my first thoughts on the new DKNY Delicious Candy Apples Juicy Berry.
As you know from my past babbles there are three new limited edition DKNY Delicious Candy Apples scents that have been released, Juicy Berry, Sweet Caramel, and Ripe Raspberry. Today I’ll tell you a bit about DKNY Delicious Candy Apples Juicy Berry fragrance. I choose it because I really dig purple and the big old purple box had me foaming at the mouth, so yeah, I picked that one to tell you the word about first.
Ok, just a brief note I don’t have Be Delicious Night…I wanted to see how Juicy Berry compared to Night but I can’t compare as I never purchased it or even smelled it. Darn. Sorry guys.
But anyway!
First off let’s talk packaging.
Totally cute packaging on each apple. They sport the traditional apple design but they now have a little popsicle stick on top so the bottle looks like a just dipped candy apple. Truly I adore the bottle, so sweet.
I’ll tell you about the other two scents at a later date but must say so far Juicy Berry is my fav of the three as it’s the sweetest.
Crunchy apple is the dominant note of the fragrance for sure. It’s crisp and ripe but also slightly matured with notes of apple blossom, rose, and blackberry. Sandalwood seems to take the scent to the next level and keeps it from being too sweet but it doesn’t kill any of the other notes in the fragrance either particularly that of blackberry. Blackberry is actually the note you’ll smell next to apple, particularly on dry down as it morphs into a berry scent with a bit of a darkness that creates a certain warmth for evening wearing. Sweet yes but also flirty, deep, warm, and fruity.
Each of the Candy Apples fragrances are an Eau de Parfum so they do have fantastic throw and a nice, long linger. A spray or two will last you all day well into the evening.
DKNY Delicious Juicy Berry Candy Apple is more of an evening perfume for me. It does carry fruity, sweet elements but it also has a warmer, darker edge which makes it ideal for an evening out.
Delicious, truly.
Muse Approved for purchase.
Likey, lots.

DKNY Candy Apples fragrance flavors include Sweet Caramel, Ripe Raspberry and Juicy Berry. Drooling much yet?
A whimsical candied fusion drizzles with luscious fruits, delicious flowers and mouth watering edibles. Tantalizing candy apple & pear tease you with temptation. A soft kiss of marshmallow is pure comfort. Decadent jasmine petals flirt with delicate muguet while velvety violet leaves add sparkle with an edge of green freshness. The fluid charm of creamy caramel is addictive as it liquefies with whipped vanilla. Satiate your sweet tooth with its playful seduction.
Ripe luscious raspberries trickle a sweet glaze over crisp crunchy apples and effervescent lime. Their yummy juices are cushioned by fluffy peonies and sweet lilies before bursting with fragrant fizziness from a delicious cola accord. Simply red, simply yummy.
Have a feast with plump little black currants and fat juicy blackberries. Fleshy pears and luscious lychee add to the mouth watering mélange. A fruity cocktail of nectar flows over velvety soft rose petals and deliciously delicate apple blossom. The fragrance finishes with a creamy layer of scrumptious sandalwood and sugary blonde woods. Juicy Berry is very berry, very DKNY.
Each DKNY Candy Apple fragrance is packaged in the original DKNY Be Delicious Apple Design, colored by flavor with an old fashioned stick displaying the DKNY logo.
Each limited edition scent will be available this January at select Sephoras, Macy’s and Ulta stores starting at $55 each or online at www.dknyfragrances.com
