And they are happy to mark the package as ‘GIFT’ and mark down the exact value so that i can avoid additional tax.

JPmon unfortunately most always does a total cost on my dec form. I normally mark as a gift when I send via airmail myself with a very low cost to avoid the drama of customs! Grrr! how annoying 🙁

if I were you, prior to ordering, shoot them over a friendly email asking would it be possible for them to mark it as a guest with a cost of say $40usd or so! They may do so. They speak english (the email addy is on my JpMon Tutorial post) so it shouldn’t be a problem to interact with them and see what they can do for you 😉

I was just wondering do you know if the JPMON site will mark the parcel as ‘Gift’ on the customs declaration form?

Cause unfortunately in the UK if you spend more than £18 you have to pay tax 🙁
